Abra Autobody

has estimated repairs on my car to exceed 15k.
which is more than i paid for it, 20,000+ miled and 3 years ago.
so it looks like i will be getting a new car.
ross is haggling with the ins. folks, who offered 7k for it (WAY less than the retail value).
i am thinking about an accord.
when i got my nissan i didn't realize that a big difference between the two was that the accord has a seat that folds fully down....much better for hauling stuff.

is anyone else out there gooney enough to name their vehicles?

I named and then renamed my current car with Jen's help

Get a Honda. Of all the mid-range vehicle manufacturers, Honda uses the highest quality steels on their frames and roofs -- which means that they're much safe in crashes and rolls. They also use lots of high-strength, lightweight steels so you don't sacrifice safety for gas mileage.

Take this from your friendly neighborhood steel trade association worker, sweetie. They'll give you the best bang for your buck all around.

But if you don't get a Honda, get a Toyota. Those things never die! =)

And I always name cars, btw. You can't depend on a steed that has no name! =P

that is pretty much my understanding of them as well.
also ross drives one and i LOVE DRIVING IT. even if i am a little afraid of stickshift. i could get used to that.

My parents name every care they have. Me, I call mine "Car". It's funny as hell when you think about it. And even funnier when you just call it 'car' every time it does something you feel the need to commune about. :giggles:

I know, I'm wierd.

That being said, Hondas are GREAT vehicles.

naming cars was the big thing in high school.
both the cars i drove were named by other people. the subrban was simply "the S.S. Suburban". the powder-blue 85 grand marquis with the cigarette lighters on both sides in the back was "the gangsta mobile".
when i finally got my nissan i named her after a greek goddess.

Go with a Honda

My truck's name is Rebekka.
She's named after a song that I always when I was young, but now like.
