wild weirdness
i had the strangest most non-sensical dream last night.
first i was singing in a band with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
plsurkity, who btw i've never met in real life. we were both back-up singers hired on. her hair was VERY pink.
then the two of us and this guy wound up going to her dad's lake cabin and going water-skiing...but nothing was where it should be in the kitchen and i wound up making breakfast for everyone. toast with butter and marmalade and eggs and bacon.
and then somehow i was at work. and work was not where i work it was somewhere else. and my parents and co-workers from different jobs were all there. and a bomb went off and my dad (who was really sneaky and on-the-ball) talked weird al yankovic into revealing that he was secretly behind the whole thing....and even though some of my co-workers had died, no one was taking it as seriously as they should. they talked about using the video recording to prove weird al was lying about his innocence, but no one was interested in pressing charges except me.
so i went home.....but it turned out that the human race had mastered weather control in 1st world countries and so instead of driving cars you skateboarded your commute on the airstream, 100 miles above the earth (which is a neat idea for a sf book, really). and i got home and realized i was missing a dinner appointment with a guy from game that i had made MONTHS in advance and therefore forgotten about. i had to go all the way back to the area near where i worked and explain...sorry i forgot. a bomb went off at work today....
