i had just been wishing for one of these starter kits and LO and behold, someone at work left one out on the table for anyone to take and spread.

yeah for viral bread-making!!!!

i even know a bunch of people who should get one from me. :)

i have the recipe somewhere to make the starter. so if you decide you want to stop at some point, i can pull it up.

actually, this makes me want it anyway, i may have to do that tomorrow. ;)

also you should check out geekcooks for lots of good recipes.

is the starter recipe you have for the sourdough, or the sweet cinnamon/sugar kind? the starter i have is for the sweet stuff, but i'm seriously looking for the sourdough.
