for liz padilla and her family. she was in my high school class.

we didn't run with the same crowds, but on the whole she was a very decent person. she didn't deserve to die like that. i hope she was as ready as she could be when she went.

she is the second classmate of mine to die that i know of. the first was alex weatherbee who died in iraq. it feels really creepy to me that people i went to high school with are already dying and then i realize...i'm not that young anymore.

I lost quite a number of my classmates... I think I'm up to 6 or 7 now. I know how you feel. It's a bit unnerving. *hugs*
