apparently we're all damaged

the horrors of old school sesame street

i can't begin to say how disgusted i am by this. sure great idea! let's all make the world so PC and bland that our children grow up with only boring ideas, grow up to be boring people and suffer from depression because of lack of stiumulus. great idea. jim henson has got to be turning in his grave.
this is officially time for me to buy the lot and show them to every toddler i can find.

Agreement. Hoping to be able to at some point. *mutters*

On a brighter note, in that general category, I have managed to pull a bunch of Sesame Street off of the Tivo, and Charles has drifted into the age realm where he loves it. Hadn't realized just how well the show was designed for teaching and learning until now, and Reading Rainbow is right up there, too.

i LOVED reading rainbow.
and there was another one where this artist drew pictures in pastels while the story was read during the story. i don't remember the name, but i loved that one.

I vaguely remember something like that, too. Cannot for the life of me remember the name, though.
If it comes to you randomly, could you let me know?

sure thing. but it is a long-shot. i'm not sure i ever knew it.

Figured... but I know that sometimes random data resurfaces and sort of floats around until you figure out why it landed in your brain to begin with.

I seem to remember thinking he was very fuzzy. *ponders*
