clickity sticks

is going out of business.
therefore i had to go there with my friend, corrin and take advantage of the sales.
and lust after the sweater's worth of merino that i still don't feel financially secure enough to buy (wish they were closing AFTER xmas).
and buy sock yarn....ooooo the sockyarn. actually i didn't buy all that much....but what i got was SO good. trekking and brown sheep and something in cotton.
there will be yarn porny goodness to follow.

everything you say seems to put an inappropriate song in my head today. first the muffing cat...
now monty python's spam song...except of course it's more like porn,porn,porn,porn....

i believe we should test this theory.

"at times, i enjoy brief moments of lucidity."

[identity profile] 2eclipse.livejournal.com 2007-11-05 08:16 pm (UTC)(link)
silent lucidity...and i can't remember all the words, dammit.

i love that song. here's another test for you...

"scooby doo is the shiznit."

[identity profile] 2eclipse.livejournal.com 2007-11-05 08:49 pm (UTC)(link)
for some reason this gets me stuck on the mahna mahna song from the muppets....probably the doo.

[identity profile] plsurkity.livejournal.com 2007-11-05 09:24 pm (UTC)(link)
that's awesome!

Remember, sock yarn doesn't count as REAL yarn, so you can buy as much as you want. ;)

I think you and I need to talk about these strange ideas you have.

[identity profile] 2eclipse.livejournal.com 2007-11-05 08:15 pm (UTC)(link)
nope she's right.
i mean, they count as far as budget goes (unfortunately for me), but they DON'T count as far as having too much stash goes. this is known to be true by knitters throughout the world.

I do not have a monopoly on strange ideas, remember.
