i managed to download the music from "free to be you and me."
i listened to this record endlessly as a child.
i am in serious nostalgia land.

but now i actually know that those singers did things OTHER than make music for my amusement.

I had the record, and we performed a bunch of the songs in chorus in elementary school. I don't remember them all, but definitely "it's alright to cry" and "when I grow up".
Hard to believe that's michael jackson -- he looks so different!!!
