this weekend

ross came home last night about 2am feeling awful. he got the server fixed enough for the show to go on, but there was a long intermission. i think the stress of the night really got to him. he got up to make sure he would be near the bathroom if he got sick and i found him on the couch this morning when i got up. he feels awful about our anniversary getting messed up, but it really isn't his fault.
poor guy. maybe i will get to spend time with him this evening.

the rest of the weekend was really nice.
friday we had dinner with susan and michael. it was good to see them. it had been much too long. michael and ross may work on recording something, which would be neat. then ross and i had a fabulous analytical discussion about friendship. *sighs with satisfaction*. we stayed up way past my bedtime talking.

saturday i got a lot done. i called the drugstore about my perscription mix-up. i should be able to pick up the correct one now.  i picked up the new robin hobb book (which i finished last night) and i chose my new cross country skis and arranged to have the bindings put on them. i can pick them up later in the week. i got the rough draft of my letter to CCC (that job i'm applying for) done, rebatched my lemon poppyseed soap (for more poppyseeds and a stronger lemon scent), and finished a knitting project i was working on(i still have several more going). we also had shaun, thistle and cedar over to hang out and made my squash/cous cous thing again. we went in the hot tub and talked a lot....which was different because we usually spend all our time gaming.  i like them so much. the more i know thistle, the more i like her. this is true of shaun too, i suppose, but i didn't expect it to be true of thistle.

get a hair cut
get and send cards
practice duet part
work on german with ross
rebatch the rosemary soap
make more soap
figure out how i'm doing my hair this weekend
laundry
groceries
clean the pine sap off the duvet cover (from the walls)
get my nails done
get some cigars and a fedora for sarnait
get pictures developed
pick up my new skis
use my crate and barrel gift cards to get another 2 place settings
put my africa pictures online
package mom's b-day gift
send mom's b-day gift
schedule a photo apt. for ross and i
get a rose for my honey 
clean the catbox (neverending)

Can I tell you how sick too my stomach I felt when I realized I needed to call him? Ugh that sucked! But he pulled it (the show) out of the fire. Your husband's a pretty amazing guy.
