Natalie is one of the best actresses to be compared to! Not only is she incredibly lovely, but she's got her BA in Psych from Harvard, and is working on her MS in Middle Eastern Studies there too.
Brains and beauty!

i really DON'T look like natalie portman.
i mean...our hair's about the same color...when she has hair.
but she's about 20-30 lbs skinnier than i am. and has much more angular features.
but i'm fine to meet.

Let me get my life a little less hectic *cough* and I'd be up for coffee, definitely! :)

*laughs*

That's cool...but I always like meeting people...pics don't always do them justice. :)

Natalie Portman wishes she looked like you.

[identity profile] 2eclipse.livejournal.com 2006-09-28 02:27 am (UTC)(link)
you are very sweet.
how long has it been since you've seen me? at least 3 years.
i will tell you though, i do not want to be as skinny as natalie is, that girl needs a hamburger!

[identity profile] kfringe.livejournal.com 2006-09-28 02:35 am (UTC)(link)
I completely agree. That girl is about three big macs a day short of good looking. I'm sure her mother worries about her.

Anyway, it's been a lot more than three years since I last saw you, but I'm pretty sure I know what your friend meant when he offered the compliment. Portman's facial expressions and the degree to which she concentrates on the people with whom she's talking are very similar to your expressions and the attention you pay to people. That's a fairly rare combination.

[identity profile] 2eclipse.livejournal.com 2006-09-28 02:39 am (UTC)(link)
thank you.*blush*
i get bored when i'm not either intense or bouncing.

i thought i saw you at croquet a few years ago.
i really want to go back again, but i don't know if we will have the finances for me to fly out for croquet AND my graduation. which is kinda important. also i will need to have a job that will let me go.
hopefully the one i posted about a couple of days ago.

[identity profile] kfringe.livejournal.com 2006-09-28 02:45 am (UTC)(link)
Stop blushing or I'll start saying nasty things about you. I hadn't intended to issue blush-worthy compliments.

The last time I went to Croquet was in 2000. I would have gone this year, but the dirty mutts at the college scheduled the game on a Sunday. Driving two hundred miles home while drunk didn't appeal to me, so I didn't make it. I probably won't make 2007 either.

Good luck on the job, by the way.

[identity profile] 2eclipse.livejournal.com 2006-09-28 02:59 am (UTC)(link)
i was there that year. i graduated that year.
i was still dating that fuck-tard then. but it was a good croquet. i got deleriously drunk on mint juleps and danced in the sun til i couldn't think straight and then helped throw a party at andy and tim's place involving lots of spaghetti and hard boiled.

[identity profile] kfringe.livejournal.com 2006-09-28 03:02 am (UTC)(link)
I think that was probably the last time I saw you, then. I, too, was dating someone then. She most emphatically Did Not Enjoy Croquet Weekend.
