my neighbor's house caught on fire today.
it was very exciting.
there were about 6 firetrucks in our teeny tiny neighborhood.
no one was hurt that we know of.
but alcoholics should not burn weeds near their houses.
and there is a cockatoo on my patio.
with no feathers.
that says "pretty bird."
it lies.

What I really want to know is how one of the neighbors managed to fish out that ridiculously powerful weedburner roscoe had in the garage when we helped re-roof the house. ;)

And the cockatoo might be talking about the nearby robins and wishing it's owners hadn't burned off it's feathers.
