i just finished and turned in 2 of my last three papers. of course that leaves the 20-pager, but i have an outline and introduction written already.
ONLY ONE MORE DAY OF KILLING MYSELF AND I WILL BE ABLE TO STRING TOGETHER 8 WHOLE HOURS OF SLEEP AT ONCE!!!!
i'm excited can you tell?
moreover, after tomorrow i will only have ONE final to study for and then i will go see ross.
i am ACHING for real activity. to the point where i was making soap and macaroni and cheese at 2am last night. the soap turned out really well and stinks pretty too.:) oatmeal/honey/goats milk super-fatted with sweet almond oil. i scented some with bay rum and some with almond.
with any luck some of it will be done soon enough for my first sale!!!!
yes folks, i actually have someone who wants to BUY my soap. and let me tell you, that feels pretty damn good. I would like to be able to at least support my hobby.
right now, the money i make is everything i DON'T spend on xmas gifts for relatives.:)
i need to get my ass in gear with that. there is a health food store nearby that also expressed some interest in sampling my work.
i haven't been to game in ages and i won't be coming tonight...sigh. but it's probably just as well. most of my contact with people lately has wound up with me talking about my papers....speaking of which i need to get moving.

i did manage to sell some of my soap, but not very much of it. i never went in to the natural foods store at all...my plans changed. at the time i thought that i was only going to be in minnesota for the following summer and then come back in the fall to complete my degree. what i found out - not long after i wrote this post, was that if i gave up trying to get two master's degrees at once and only got one, i could finish all my coursework that year (minus a couple electives that could be taken at a local seminary and transferred back)and write my thesis in minnesota.
i decided that establishing a business relationship wasn't a good idea if i couldn't keep it up.

Meh. I'm even worse at sleeping when I'm sick unless a really high fever is involved. I have issues becoming unconscious when I don't feel in control of myself - so I get locked into a weird cycle of sleep delerium and self-angst unless the sick itself actually knocks me out.
I've tried to get C to teach me the sleeping easily and forever thing so many times, but we've never quite worked out something functional as far as tutelage.
