internet issues

so after my classwork yesterday, my computer decides randomly to refuse to load internet pages in under 5 minutes. my podcasts are also not refreshing. in effect, my only internet is at work until this is fixed, although i still receive e-mail just fine.
 if i'm pokey getting back to you, this is why.
