i stayed home today

because somehow i manged to get sick. my throat feels like i've been gargling with razor blades and my head is full of cotton worms.
i went to the doctor who said there is a virus going around masquerading as strep. and since i don't have strep, she thinks that's what it is. 7-10 days before i feel better.
blech.

it is definitely in the process of passing. i'm feeling much better today and no more fever. two days of sacking out on the couch with tea and books was very good for me.
i am actually prepping for a party tonight.
