i just took a nap. fell asleep while studying.
i dreampt i went to a small island where everyone, even the royalty with whom i had business, was playing the lottery.
i had to wait until the results were read aloud to get my business done.
i waited in a room filled with chinese people of all ages and sat next to an old man. the tickets were all on a list and said things chosen by the people who played. many of these had lucky numbers or something in chinese or in code, but some of them said things in english. many of the sayings that were in english pertained to the recent easter holiday.
about the fourth one read went too quickly and i didn't hear it so i scanned my sheet for something that resembled it and found that it said "HAPPY EASTER: HORRIBLE RASBERRY"
when i read this, i got the giggles.
uncontrollably.
i sat and snickered until i drew attention to myself. the old man leaned over my shoulder looking until he, too got the joke and we sat and failed to successfully stifle our laughter in a room full of chinese people and a couple of royals from this island. everyone seemed to think that we were horrible inappropriate.
i crack myself up.
