llm145, ashoe and qontinuum!
it is my own anniversary as well today. ross and i planned for low-key. we are already taking some financial risk in the fact that i'm going with him to germany so i wanted us to be a little safer in our celebrations of today.
good thing too, because he had to work this afternoon from 11-5. i went in to the guthrie to be near him, but got corralled to the procenium where magikay was working the radio broadcast. it was nice to spend time with magikay, who is always pleasant, courteous and interesting, but i was sad not to be with ross.
the show got done and we had a nice dinner together at outback....we had just gotten home and curled up to watch some battlestar together when ross got another urgent call from the guthrie. the main system was down and he had to go in to fix it.
i was sad, but i had other things to do and a very good book. i was not really sad until he called just a little bit ago.
he said he was going to be late.
he said not to wait up.
it is a good thing i have really nice cats.
in other news, i got my shippment of soaping supplies in and put the order in for my new skis to have bindings put on. i will pick them up later this week.
