i love the xmas season

it has snowing about an inch every day this week. it is snowing now (a bit more than that) which means we have a lovely blanket of snow everywhere.
i have xmas music and a snuggly blanket, but there is nothing that makes you feel as loved as when the cat climbs into your lap.
also i am reading canticle for leibowitz and am fairly sure i don't understand it yet, even though an hour ago i thought i did.
